Are you a part qualified management accountant looking to join a reputable company in the Barnsley area?
We are currently working with a thriving business based in the Pontefract area who have a rare opportunity for a driven and bubbly Part-Qualified Management Accountant to support and drive performance across all aspects of month end and management account preparation, as well as getting involved with Transactional Finance duties. This is a 12 month Fixed term Contract role.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
*Assisting with the Monthly Management Accounts Prep (accruals, prepayments, journal)
*5-6 P&L management
*P&L analysis
*Balance Sheet Reconciliations
*Variance analysis and commentary
*Provide information and reporting for weekly flash meetings
*Ad-hoc reporting and finance duties as required
*Dealing with the wider business in relation to finance and driving change
*Help with transition of finance system from Access Dimensions to Sage Line 200
To be successful for this role you MUST have the following attributes:-
- Part qualified Accountant, studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Can hit the ground running and get up to speed really quickly
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Strong analytical and time management skill
- Strong organisational skills
