My client, who are a leading Design and Manufacturing business, has a fantastic opportunity for The Systems Design Engineer to join them, based in Plymouth area.
The main responsibilities for The Systems Design Engineer, based in Plymouth is to assist in all phases across the complete systems engineering lifecycle which includes requirement capture, system architecture design and verification & validation activities. As The Systems Design Engineer, based in Plymouth you will apply practical skills in design techniques for defence and commercial applications and being able to understand key process tools and technologies. Furthermore, as The Systems Design Engineer, based in Plymouth you will be developing systems engineering, support tasks across the lifecycle to deliver agreed performance targets including cost and schedule. You will also work with the engineering team to manage design changes and solve any issues on complex systems.
The Systems Design Engineer, based in Plymouth will be required to have a strong academic background with an engineering degree. You will have technical knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and have previous experience in Naval or Military Systems. Furthermore, The Systems Design Engineer, based in Plymouth will have experience in system architecture design planning and being able to communicate with customers successfully.
