My Client is well established, industry leading Joinery company. Based in Thirsk, they have seen year on year success, with further growth plans for 2021. They offer a range of services from Design through to Manufacturing. This has given the company opportunities to service a multitude of industries, with a diverse client base stretching across the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bench Joiners to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

The Bench Joiner role will be joining an established team, working in a fantastic workshop, working to client specifications
Your primary responsibility is to read and follow design drawings, taking pride in your work.
Main Duties:
* Read and understand the contents of relevant risk assessments and safe systems of work
* Careful and concise work, taking pride in accuracy and attention to detail
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with approved drawings and specifications
* Problem solving /working using own initiative
* Conform to the latest health & safety & employment legislation, you will act responsibly and safely at all times to promote a positive safety culture
* To undertake any reasonable tasks requested by your supervisor/company management
Role Requirements:
* Qualified / time served Bench Joiner
* Experience of fitting staircases
* Experience of working with different types of softwood and hardwood's
* Excellent communication
* Take pride in your work
* Ability to inspect own work
* Numerically able to work out measurements
* Flexibility with regards to getting the job finished
