Multi Trade Operative - Domestic Properties
3 month contract
Monday to Friday days
Up to GBP17.00 per hour
Role
A Multi Trade Operative with experience and knowledge of refurbishment and planned maintenance works on Domestic properties
Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for refurbishment works to kitchen and bathrooms on a measured term maintenance contract, servicing tenanted and empty properties across the area
Core competencies of the role
* Undertake full replacement works to kitchen and bathrooms for SFA properties whilst void or occupied.
* Remain in compliance with CDM and company operating procedures and current Building Regulations.
* Complete work orders: source and record material used on jobs.
* Use client information, code descriptions, preambles and specifications.
* Maintain H&S requirements during all activities
* Qualifications & experience required.
Experience
* Sound trade knowledge and experience in the refurbishment sector.
* Fitting carpets and vinyl
* Be able to work alone and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with residents when required
* Able to undertake all or large majority of elements of works required (excluding electrical and gas)
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2/3
* Asbestos Awareness
* SSSTS and FAAW would be advantageous
* Multi Skilled Operative / Relevant Primary Trade CSCS Card
