PROJECT WORKER, ADELAIDE HOUSE APPROVED PREMISES FOR WOMEN
Adelaide House (LDCSA) is a registered Christian charity.
We are an independent Approved Premises for women, located in Liverpool and are one of only 6 such facilities in the country. We provide residential support and interventions for up to 18 adult women (aged 18 and over). We work closely with our partner agencies to manage risk, protect the public and support women to make positive changes to their lives.
We are currently looking for a female project worker (Sex Discrimination Act 1975, Section 75 (2) (e) to join our small well-established team.
This post involves working a combination of evening shifts (4pm-10pm), weekends, (8am-8pm) and waking night shifts (10pm-8am) for an average of 32 hours per week on an 8week rolling rota basis. All shifts are covered by at least 2 staff members and you will have 24 hour access to an experienced on-call manager
Annual salary is £24.231.64 (this is inclusive of unsocial hours enhancements). You will also receive 212 hours annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) and generous employer pension contributions.

Ideally the successful candidate should have experience of working within the Criminal Justice System and understand the importance of leading by example, encouragement and enthusiasm when working with this client group. This post will involve contributing to the running of the Approved Premises through completion of administrative tasks and monitoring and support of the residents/and building during shifts.
We are seeking a self-motivated and committed individual to support our residents and assist the running of the Approved Premises. Excellent communications skills, administrative skills and team-work skills are a must. In return you will receive regular supervision and appropriate training to further enhance your skills and development.
Due to the nature of the role this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate will be subject to a check by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
