About the role

As one of the leading recruitment companies in the UK, Randstad invests heavily in its people and is committed to providing best-in-industry training. Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment trainer to join the Learning & Development team and help support our growing RPO/MSP division and Shared Service functions.

As part of our Central L&D team, your role as a Learning & Development Consultant will be busy and varied. You'll deliver formal training programmes and run workshops to help develop our people's leadership, management and technical skills, undertake performance coaching, write new training content and work on HR and business transformation projects.

About you

You're an experienced trainer with a proven track record in design and delivery. Ideally you've done an L&D role in a fast-paced environment and dynamic business, supporting corporate head office teams like IT, Marketing, Finance and HR. Experience and/or knowledge of the recruitment industry and MSP/RPO models is highly advantageous.

You're a strong facilitator, confident training junior and senior staff, both in group settings and on an individual basis, and possess great communication and interpersonal skills. You're passionate and personable, and enjoy working at pace and in a dynamic team environment.

Due to the nature of our roles and the fact that we support the UK business, the L&D team is usually field-based which traditionally would involve being based in a local office, travelling to different branches and visiting our Luton Head Office to deliver training. At the moment we're all working from home and delivering training remotely, which we would expect to continue to a large degree when things go back to 'normal'. That means we're open to people based in different locations across the UK and can offer flexible working, but there will be some travel required in the future.
