IT System Tester
We currently have an exciting IT System Tester position available for motivated individuals to join us based in Bournemouth. Joining us on a full-time, fixed term contract lasting until 31st May 2022, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP18,000 per annum plus benefits.

We are in the process of upgrading our infrastructure and improving our Rapid billing system requiring an IT System Tester. A project has been approved and is in the scoping stage to upgrade PWS to the latest version and add new functionality and roll out several new modules.
In order to do this comprehensive testing is required to not only ensure new developments and fixes work as designed but to also carry out regression testing to ensure the introduction of these changes doesn't cause indirect issues to other system functions.
Responsibilities as our IT System Tester will include:
You will be responsible for testing changes made to our billing system as well as any dependant systems affected by the changes to ensure new developments and fixes work correctly and the introduction of them does not cause new issues to other areas of the system.
What we are looking for in our ideal IT System Tester:
- Educated to A level or equivalent or demonstrable work experience
- Knowledge of billing system configuration, application and administration
- Strong communication, organisational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Able to communicate effectively and project a positive and professional image
- Ability to react to stressful situations with flexibility and diplomacy
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written), with an emphasis on understanding, documenting and explaining billing system processes and issues through professional interactions
