HR Manager - Doncaster - GBP40,000 - GBP50,000

Chase & Holland are excited to be working exclusively with a dynamic and rapidly growing family-owned manufacturing and distribution business in Doncaster to recruit a HR Manager. Our client is a key player in their chosen market operating on a national basis, with operations in Doncaster and Northampton. This is a stand-alone role and a fantastic opportunity to join and established and growing business who truly value the HR function in a key role which will offer development.

HR Manager Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy working closely with the MD
Provide sound guidance on all employee relations matters, Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance Management
Ensuring all recruitment requirements of the business are met, developing recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
Overseeing the Employee Relations, HR and Payroll administration function.
Nurture a positive working environment
Review existing practices and implement improvements that enhance both people and company performance
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Maintain and develop the companies pay and benefits program
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Required Skills & Experience:

5 years plus proven background in a similar HR Manager role
CIPD Qualification
Strong communication and organisational skills, including active listening skills
A self-starter approach, be comfortable using initiative and working autonomously
People oriented and results driven
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
Previous experience working within a standalone HR Capacity would be ideal but not essential.
