Manufacturing Machine Crew Member

Location: Grangemouth, FK3 8YE.
Salary: Competitive.
Contract: Fixed term contract until 29 October 2021.
Working Hours: This role will involve working day shifts either 7.00am - 3.00pm (12.30pm finish on a Friday) or 8.30am - 4.30pm (2.00pm finish on a Friday).

Saica is one of the leading European players in the development and production of recycled paper for corrugated cardboard with a production of 2.5 million tons of paper.

The Company has recently built on its' success in the paper and corrugated market and diversified into the development and production on Flexible packaging.

With more than 9,000 employees across Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, UK, Ireland, Turkey, Luxembourg and The Netherlands, Saica Group has four business divisions: recycled paper production for corrugated cardboard (PAPER), recyclable materials recovery (NATUR), production of corrugated packaging (PACK) and flexible packaging (FLEX).

The consolidated turnover of the multinational group is over 3.5 billion Euros.

We are recruiting for a Crew member position for our production team in Grangemouth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To work as part of a team producing high quality product in line with customer order specifications.
• To comply and operate within the Health and Safety at Work regulations by maintaining own personal safety and that of other team members
• To contribute to the overall profitability of the site by minimising waste and machine downtime.
• To maintain a high level of housekeeping within the plant to increase productivity and minimise accidents.
• To participate in on going continuous improvement projects.
• To liaise and communicate with Team Leader / Production Manager and other departments on an adhoc basis

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous experience of detailed work would be advantageous.
• Knowledgeable in basic computer skills.
