Ideally you are a self-organised, highly motivated recent graduate or junior graphic designer looking to join a, fast-paced, growing company and support the marketing manager and managing director with the creation of digital assets.

We're based in Chester and you'd be working from head office, with some flexibility for home working as required.

What we *really* want though, is someone that wants to grow with us. We need you to be super-keen to add new skills to your repertoire: video editing, copy writing, social media and digital asset management. The opportunities to scale your skills and the rewards that come with that are endless here, if you have the right attention to detail, attitude, ownership of your work responsibilities and deadlines.

For full time, permanent employees we offer a range of cool benefits, like medical insurance, gym memberships, Audible accounts, unlimited coffee at Pret-a-Manager, a cash bonus scheme administered by employees no management and unlimited CPD. We also have a generous pension, loyalty package for service of 5, 10 and 15 years, and amazing socials (we've been racing Porsches, and been away to Madrid and Prague to name just a few).

Your starting salary is GBP20k pa (more is available if you can justify it with experience of video editing and production, copy writing, infographics and objectively demonstrated success with social media).

READ THIS CAREFULLY:

You must submit a covering letter. A CV tells us almost nothing beyond the fact you went to school and university. Your covering letter tells us much more about you, and whether you're a good cultural fit for the business. It should introduce who you are, what you want to do (personal and professional goals), what you like to do in your spare time, what type of work/environment gets you fired up and will bring out the best in you, and finally, what your weaknesses are and how you compensate for them, or how intend to address them.

Evidence of your work is required. Do NOT send us links to a generic portfolio online. We frequently get upwards of 100 applications, and do not have the time to go through portfolios looking for something we consider relevant to the post. You need to choose what is relevant and send that with your CV and covering letter. Links to videos you have edited or produced are fine, as are links to copy you have written.

A final word: don't send us anything that isn't *exclusively* your work. We will check before we make you an offer, so if you haven't done e.g. video, be honest about it. It won't necessarily stop you from getting the job, because we expect that people will learn the skills they don't have while they are here.
