Senior Architect
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Architect to join a well-established RIBA Architectural practice of 18 based in central York.
This practice is specialists in the work they do and have been going for over 30 years now. They work on a wide variety of projects including - Country Estates, Retail & Leisure, Historic Buildings, Residential and Healthcare.
Over the last couple of years, they have won several awards for specialist work that they produce.
The role as the Senior Architect will see you take projects from inception through to completion, be competent in the design and technical delivery of projects, and manage/delegate junior staff along with other responsibilities.
As a RIBA Practice, they consist of 18 staff with a wealth of experience in Historic Buildings, Architecture, and Building Surveying. Location-wise the office is based in central York and a 15-minute walk from the train station.
The salary for this position ranges from GBP34,000 to GBP42,000 depending on previous experience.
The Role/Candidate: - Senior Architect
* Ability to use Revit and AutoCAD.
* Manage projects from inception through to completion.
* Competent in the design and technical delivery of projects - independently
* Manage and delegate junior staff members!
* Monitor and be responsible for projects including fee quotations, time scales, fee budgets, and resource planning.
* Projects delivered to a high standard.
* Day - day dealing with projects, liaising with engineers/clients etc
* Provide support to other teams and staff in the office.
* Live within a commutable area to York
