Conservation Structural Engineer

An exciting position has become available for a full time Conservation Structural Engineer to join a friendly team based in York. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary along with a flexible benefits package commensurate with your experience and professional qualifications. You will be given support to achieve your full potential, including working toward CARE Accreditation.

Role Requirements

  • Must have several years of experience and be at Chartered or near-Chartered status.
  • The role requires excellent analytical and report-writing skills, and a willingness to survey structures at height and within derelict buildings with appropriate risk mitigation.
  • You will also need strong communication skills and be comfortable with meeting clients and construction professionals.
  • Self-motivation, a methodical approach and an enthusiasm for this sector are all essential.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will be working on Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments as well as non-designated heritage assets primarily across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, but other areas of the country as well.
