Mobile Mechanical Engineer (Technician)

Grimsby

8am to 4.30pm, 40 Hours a Week Monday to Friday

GBP28,000 - GBP29,000 Starting Salary (OTE GBP35,000) + Pay Reviews + Overtime at Premium Rates + Expensed Van (can be used for personal use) + Fuel Card + 6% Employer and 4% Employee Pension + Training Package + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Mobile Mechanical Engineer (Technician) required for an international manufacturer and service provider of plant equipment offering fantastic training and support. This is a great chance to join a successful company in a local role offering pay reviews and an excellent benefits package.

The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be very suitable. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.

The company are a manufacturer and you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in and around Grimsby. You'll cover a local territory, no stay away is required.

The Role in Brief:

*Carry out planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis

*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area, primarily Grimsby surrounding areas when required.

*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

*Call out rota, paid extra

The Person Required:

*Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable

*Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills

*Ideally hold a level 3 in a relevant discipline
