About The Role

As a Deputy Home Manager at St Martin's Court you'll be making sure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements. It will mean providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that's unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Our Nurse's deliver the very highest standard of care to our residents. You will take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. You will promote our residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
We have scheduled clinical skills days that are designed to build your confidence and knowledge and also development days to upskill and learn new care and clinical skills including:
• Clinical Skills - Catheterisation, Venipuncture, PEG, Injection techniques and more...
• Care Skills - Stoma Care, Oral Health Care, Eye Care, Ear Care, Skin Integrity and more...
About You
We're looking for a Registered Nurse with valid Pin number, knowledge of National Standards and NMC code of practice. Not to mention a background in person centred care planning within a care home. Beyond that, it's all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. You'll be a great mentor who can manage time effectively and keep meaningful records. And, whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you'll be truly considerate and kind.

Situated in the quiet, residential area of Morriston, on the outskirts of Swansea, St Martins Court is a friendly, purpose-built, 67 bedded care home which offers residential and nursing care. Our main aim is to help our residents maintain their dignity and independence in our homely surrounding.
