Technical Site Administrator

Part-time: 15 hours per week

6 months’ maternity cover in the first instance

NIAB is a dynamic, research led and market driven plant bioscience organisation, with an emphasis on innovative applications for end-users in the agricultural, horticultural and food sectors.

Located at our Hasse Fen site near Soham, this part-time, maternity cover role is to support the Innovation Hub and Innovation Farm Team, providing a friendly and safe, working environment, which supports both NIAB staff and the resident and visiting licensees/Hub Club members and their daily research/development needs.

You will be the front-line Reception, dealing with all deliveries to the site and answering any telephone enquiries and therefore need good written and spoken English skills. You will have skills in Microsoft Office at least to intermediate level and be familiar with finance/data input, management of shared documents and files. Experience in handling AV/IT equipment preferred.

You will be expected to occasionally work outside of normal working hours. A full driving licence is essential as travel to other sites is required.

Starting salary is in the range of £19,626 to £25,896 pro rata per annum, dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
