The position

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Cylinder Driver to join our team to complete multi-drop tours, delivering LPG cylinders to our customers whilst maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities:

Your day to day duties will include:

• Conduct daily checks on vehicles to maintain road worthiness and comply with company and legal standards
• Ensure tachograph records are compliant in line with WTD and drivers hours regulations
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and outside of cab, reporting defects and incidents promptly
• Safe loading and unloading of vehicles Supporting the Site Cylinder Filling team as required
• Delivering a high level of customer service to our customers, maintaining and enhancing the company reputation
• Attending training courses as required

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• LGV 2 (Class 2) driving licence
• Current drivers CPC Current ADR licence (Class 2 Gases)
• Valid digital tacho card
• Current FLT licence (Counterbalance) (desirable, training can be provided)
• Strong geographical knowledge of Midlands and extended areas
• Ability to manage high volumes of manual handling
