Naval Instructor - Marine Engineering
Location: Middle East
About the Role
We are searching for a skilled Marine Engineering Instructor to join our high-profile client in the defence sector based in the Middle East. The primary purpose of this role is to provide training to Naval Students in the maintenance and operation of their ships and military equipment. As Marine Engineering Instructor, you will deliver training specific to the role of Shipwright. Specifically, you will train the basic principles of welding, cutting, sheet metalwork fabrication, firefighting and damage control systems.
Requirements
You are likely to be considered a suitable candidate for this role if you have the following:
* Graduate of an advanced military trade school or industry equivalent.
* Previous experience in the role of Hull Technician or Shipwright - specifically welding, cutting and sheet metalwork.
* Have recent instructional experience (ideally within the last 2 years) and have completed an accredited Instructional Techniques course.
* GRP qualified.
* Ships Systems Qualified.
* It would be a distinct advantage if you have completed a CBRNDC 35's Intermediate Sea Survival Course (ISSC or firefighting qualified).
