Based near Newton Abbot, we are looking to recruit a Ks3/4 Teacher for a local school. This is a full time, 40 hours, 52 week position.
Main Duties
* To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with support from teaching staff
* To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students
* To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
* To ensure that all lessons are planned, prepared and delivered with clear differentiation to cater for students of all abilities and backgrounds whilst ensuring individual student progress
* Employ a variety of interactive teaching methods appropriate to the age and ability of each individual student to promote a love of learning and children's intellectual curiosity
* Impart knowledge and develop understanding through effective use of lesson time

Degree in relevant subject area;

To aspire to be an outstanding classroom practitioner;
* Strong current subject knowledge;
* A positive disposition;
* A willingness to develop excellent ICT skills;

* A proven track record of examination success
* Influencing and negotiation skills
Requirements
* PGCE/DEGREE in EDUCATION
* Evidence of further training in SEN
* Experience of working with children having SEN
* Successful instruction of pupils with ASD/SLD/MLD
* Skilled in conflict resolution / counselling
The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.
Salary: GBP24-33K per annum
Hours: 40 hours 52 weeks per year
