At Doosan Digital Innovation Europe (DDIE), we rely on our IT systems to help our customers succeed and as part of our commitment to making sure our clients have everything they need to thrive we are looking to add a Desktop Support Agent to our team in Renfrew on an initial 12 month FTC basis.

The purpose of the Desktop Support Agent role is to assist Tower Leads within the Platform Services Chapter to provide technical assistance to users within Renfrew and the wider estate; provide reliable and high quality IT support to the business as usual activities within the end-user computing environments.

Within this role you will be responsible for the following:

- Maintaining essential IT operations, including laptops, desktops, smartphones, printers and software.
- Complete builds of new devices and re-imaging using SCCM
- Manage the incoming/outgoing of kit within Renfrew (new builds/upgrades/hardware disposal)
- Perform data backup on weekly basis and manage the secure transfer of backups with 3rd party.
- Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting and provide technical support to end users and staff
- Maintain and update new build documentation
- Ensure accurate recoding of all new/old assets
- Manage upgrade process in ongoing Win 7 > Win 10 project, providing progress updates and assist with scheduling of site upgrades
- Conduct IT on-boarding for new starts

As our new Desk Support agent you will ideally demonstrate the following experience and education:

- Customer centric approach, passionate about enhancing the service being offered across the team
- Educated to at least GCE A level, SQA Highers, or equivalent standard
- Microsoft Windows/IT related certification
- 1-2 Years' experience in a similar role
- Expertise in end user computing technologies
- Including, but not limited to Microsoft SCCM,
- Windows 7/10 client OS imaging and deployment
- Hardware breakfix/upgrades - laptops/desktops
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory,
- Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN/WiFi

Please note, as this is a support role you will be expected to be on site in Renfrew on a full time 37 hour p/w basis, with no option to support remotely.
