We are currently recruiting for an Energy Improvement Manager to join a rapidly expanding Automotive parts manufacturer based at their plant in Liverpool.
This role is responsible for all company energy need, supporting and process, and lead the development and delivery of commercially driven energy improvement projects.
Energy Improvement Manager core responsibilities:
* Understanding and mapping our site energy use throughout the Value Stream map.
* Project future energy use and requirements to coincide with business growth.
* Ensure Energy efficiency and reduction is embedded in the QMS system.
* Delivery of improvement projects and programmes across a diverse number of site applications. Scope of projects will include behaviour change, capital projects, design advice and full reporting. Projects cover the full range of technologies.
* End to end development of new projects from initial data review to developing audits, presenting to our Senior Leadership team.
* Ownership of key energy savings and carbon compliance work.
* Ownership and management of key suppliers and partners.
* Develop our commercial model for delivering savings and identify new opportunities.
* Lead the business in its pursuit of 'Best in class' Energy compliance certification.
Required skills:
* Min 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience of delivering energy projects and savings.
* Experience with Furnaces and high temperature equipment.
* Commercially focused with Energy Management Experience.
* Technical experience and qualification in key technologies e.g. lighting, heating, A/C, BEMS
* Excellent time management skills with a target driven approach.
* Ability to work under pressure, independently and within a team.
* Ability to use problem solving tools and work with stakeholders on solution to problems.
* Excellent skills in MS Office and communication to all levels of the business.
* Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience of Lean manufacturing.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Flexible approach with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Ability to create & deliver training material.
Desirable Skills
* Implementation/qualifications in CCA, CRC, ESOS, EPC.
* Water efficiency projects
* Reporting technologies and methods: Regression, IPMVP
* Further qualifications e.g. engineering degree, chartered energy manager
