- Salary of £24,000 - £26,000
- Company vehicle (for work use)

As a Network Fitter, you will be responsible for the laying and repairing of all sizes of communication pipes, mains and ancillary apparatus.
Some of your duties will include:
- Overseeing the work of the Engineering Operative
- Excavating and repairing of all sizes of pipe
- Maintaining the highest standards safety and quality on site, to minimise the impact on the environment
- Ensuring that customers and road users are given full consideration and respect at all times
- Completing site-based risk assessments
- Loading and unloading materials, backfilling and reinstating excavations
- Undertaking daily routine checks and maintenance of plant
- Assisting with tidying the Redhill yard
- Taking part in an emergency 24 hour callout/standby cover as part of the rostered arrangement

- The willingness to learn

- A EUSR Water Hygiene Card
- An NRSWA Streetworks Qualification including signing, lighting and guarding
- Class A driving licence
Experience of any of the following would be beneficial to your application: trench timbering techniques, abrasive wheels, risk assessments, confined space awareness, use of cable avoidance tools.
