Metal Fettler / Finisher (Shift Based)
Dorking, Surrey
GBP12.25 p/h (GBP25'500) + Overtime + Bonus + Pension + Training and Development + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Excellent role on offer for a Fettler / Metal Finisher to work at a modern manufacturing site that will invest in you through ongoing training.
Do you have experience of metal finishing using grinding and sanding tools? Do you have a good eye for detail when inspecting work?
Established over 100 years ago this company design and manufacture a variety of specialist vehicles for customers all over the world. They have invested millions into a brand new site and as a result of their expansion require a Fettler to join their fabrication/production team.
In this role you will be responsible for fettling and finishing welded components prior to the parts being painted. Other responsibilities will include stud welding and cleaning/tidying welding seams to meet standards and customer expectations.
This opportunity would suit a metal fettler looking to join a company which can training in an expanding business.
The Role:
*Preparing weld assemblies for painting
*Grinding, Sanding and stud welding
*Cleaning and tidying welding seams/splatter
*Working to high standards
*Working 5:45am-1:45pm and 2:15pm-10:15pm rotating shift
The Person:
*Experience of metal finishing
*Experience of sanding and grinding metals
*High standards and attention to detail
