INTERIM HR CONSULTANT
6-MONTH CONTRACT
COMPETITIVE SALARY
REMOTE (BERKSHIRE)
A rapidly expanding organisation within the funeral sector is looking for an Interim HR Consultant to join their caring and friendly team. The role is remote but travel to the office is required on occasion.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Interim HR Consultant, you will review the central HR services function, companywide recruitment, and onboarding HR administration practices to recommend and implement standard operating procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Interim HR Consultant your key duties will include:
* Reviewing processes in the central HR function implementing KPIs and SLAs for HR services
* Reviewing all HR administration and processes throughout the employee life cycle
* Remapping internal HR administration processes with the development of the HR System identifying efficiencies
* Working with the HR Recruitment & Administration Manager to understand the HR system and its functionality/data analytics and reporting
* Reviewing and implementing the recruitment strategy and processes companywide working with key stakeholders and 3rd party providers
* Leading the implementation of the new screening/referencing checking system and process with the third-party provider
* Supporting the changes required around IR35 including business strategy, processes and plan for assessing groups of workers around IR35 'on payroll workers' and 'off payroll workers'
* Creating an audit strategy and plan for compliance for good work plan, contracts, recruitment, payroll, pension and benefits ensuring full compliance in HR legislation, HMRC regulations, the pension auto-enrolment regulations, GDPR and Gender Pay Gap
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the role of Interim HR Consultant, you must have:
* Experience in planning, instigating and embedding change in a HR Services model
* Experience of managing HR data analytics/reporting and implementing KPIs and SLAs in a HR central services team
* Experience of developing a structure to ensure legislative compliance
* Candidate selection and interviewing experience
* Excellent relationship management skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Excellent HR system skills
* Preferably CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification
