Wise Employment are recruiting for a Production Planner/Scheduler for a UK leading company based in Plymouth.
This is an exciting permanent role and offers the opportunity to work for a highly reputable company.
You will be creating and maintaining production schedules in order to meet customer demands in a timely, efficient and cost effective way.
You will be developing an accurate delivery method for raw materials to ensure scheduling is accurate and performance levels are adhered to.
This role will require you to raise work orders and achievable production schedules, ensure materials are on site within the correct time frame and to budget with minimal waste, raise material call odds and define a delivery schedule, review 4 weekly rolling production plans including stock requirements.
This role will need you to issue schedule plans to the warehouse team for transport planning reasons and also provide monthly reports to the procurement team detailing any supplier issues.
To succeed in the role, you will have the ability to work with large quantities of data and be able to work to and exceed deadlines. You will have strong numeracy and accuracy skills and have a string commercial awareness. Previous experience in a scheduling/planning/materials coordinating role is required and experience within supply chain/manufacturing is essential.
This role will be working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexibility for some weekend work at times. This role offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
