Fishtek Marine is a unique environmental engineering company which develops and distributes a range of innovative technical devices that are proven to minimise bycatch in commercial fisheries.  Based in Totnes, the business is rapidly growing and in need of a reliable candidate to fill the new role of Sales and Administration Assistant to support an established team. 

This full-time role will be based at our offices in Totnes and will principally encompass all administrative aspects of our sales process. This would involve managing website enquires, liaising with customers, generating quotes, proformas and invoices and co-ordinating the dispatching of orders.  Additional to this the role would include supporting the team in general administration duties and the management of our CRM database.

The successful candidate must be flexible, confident working both independently and part of a small team and happy working in the fast-paced, spirited environment of a rapidly expanding manufacturing business.  This is an exciting opportunity within a growing company, to join the team and help drive the business forward.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Previous experience in administration/ support roles
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent IT skills (Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, Video conferencing)
  • Confident liaising with customers
  • Excellent written English and verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Previous sales experience
  • Basic bookkeeping skills, knowledge SAGE
  • Familiarity of CRM management
  • Knowledge of export logistics (air/sea freight)
