PE Teaching Assistant
For this PE Teaching Assistant role you will be required to assist the PE Teacher during lessons by encouraging the students to get involved, to work as a team and to also manage behaviour when needed. The students you will be working with will be aged between 7-18 years who have been removed from a mainstream school due to their behaviour. The ideal PE Teaching Assistant for this role will need to be fun, energetic, motivating and have a keen interest in sport.
PRU
Found in the borough of Croydon, this PRU caters for 120 students aged between 7-18 years that have been removed from a mainstream school due to their extreme challenging behaviour. Their main aim is to improve their students' behaviour and attitude towards their education to be able to transition them back into a mainstream education. Due to their consistent support, in their last Ofsted they were reviewed as 'good' in all areas.
