The Group includes Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance; Trident Reach, a registered care and support charity providing services (homeless, mental health, young people, older people, BME groups and domestic violence) to people in the Midlands.
About the role
A 30 hours per week role to maintain our resident's properties to ensure a fast and efficient repair service. Working fully as part of a 24-hour service, to provide a thorough facility to the customers at Oakland Village care home in Derbyshire.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for undertaking allocated repair/Maintenance jobs to properties in accordance with the requirements of the tenants and the organisation
* Responsibility for planning own workload, allocated jobs taking recognition of the priorities and required completion dates
* Maintain effective communication with the team in relation to any jobs
* Arrange and attend pre-arranged responsive repair appointments to carry out work
* Maintaining clean corporate work wear, plant and tool inspections, reporting and dealing with any maintenance/repair issues.
* Always working to the safe working practice as outlined in the Health and Safety Policy
* Actively participate in a standby rota for emergency works reported out of normal working hours.
* Any other duties as required by the role.
* Oversee outside contractors.
* Maintain gardens in line with health and safety risk assessments
About you
Essential
* Experience of undertaking various maintenance repair duties
* Awareness of precautionary measures to take whilst undertaking maintenance repairs
Desirable
* Training including lone working, confidentiality, health and safety risk assessments and equality and diversity
* Maintenance and garden experience
