Applications Support Analyst

Here at Johnnie Johnson Housing, we have an exciting opportunity within our ICT Team for an Applications Support Analyst to join us.

Joining us as an Applications Support Analyst, you will provide support and development for key applications used by the business, in particular the core Housing Management and CRM System. You will design and develop system interfaces and data transfer solutions to enable disparate systems to work together, building high quality, robust and documented software solutions. You will develop and support a network of system super users, ensuring user knowledge is up to date, systems are been utilised in an optimum manner and supported with relevant training material.

Acting as a champion for those key systems and helping to ensure that system downtime is minimised, you will be a collaborative team player, keen to play your part in the organisations ICT programme, having stakeholder engagement at the heart of your approach, as well as being keen to develop your technical skills as we move to an increasingly agile, cloud-based way of working.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience using SQL server suite of products; SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, experience creating and amending reports and good working knowledge of programming, scripting and reporting tools (SQL, HTML, C#, VB, Powershell and Crystal Reports). They will also have knowledge of Windows Servers/Desktop environments, and preferably VMWare, SAN and O365 experience. Ideally, you will have some knowledge of cloud services, such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

Above all, you will have strong IT knowledge with excellent customer focused skills, driven by the achievement of high standards through outstanding service delivery. An awareness of housing regulations would be beneficial, however is not essential.
