The Company:
ER Recruitment are working alongside a continuously expanding, innovative and highly respected business looking for a Sales Manager to head their thriving sales team in Leicester.
Role & Responsibilities of the Corporate Sales Manager:
You will manage sales of the company's products and services. Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and management of sales personnel. Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term profitability.
* Achieving growth and sales targets by successfully managing the B2B sales team in line with the businesses three year plan
* Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the customer base as well as increasing revenue from existing customers.
* Managing objectives as well as the coaching and performance management of the sales executive team
* Achieve growth and sales budgets through the day to day management of the sales team, consistently challenging yourself and your team to be the best in their field, including undertaking sales activities on major accounts personal
* Assist sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers
* Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships to achieve an agreed retention ratio
* Present sales and revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the line manager, executive team and where appropriate, the board.
* Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
* To carry out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder's capabilities.
About you:
* Successful previous experience as a dynamic and forward thinking sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
* Committed to continuous personal and professional development
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
* Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
* Strong ability to turn challenges into results and have an unwavering intent on success
* Strong mentoring, coaching and people management skills
* Strong strategic thinking and planning ability
