Van Delivery Drivers
We are looking for ongoing Van Drivers to join our busy team in ST Helens
About our Client : Our client offers a range of linen services tailored to the needs of healthcare providers in the UK. Our services range from a simple bulk rental service to a total linen management solution where our onsite staff manage the distribution and collection of linen to and from wards.
All our services utilise 100% cotton sheets and pillowcases, products are ethically sourced, high quality, purpose designed and processed to the most stringent industry guidelines.
All services are supported by our market leading Absolute materials management software, giving flexibility in the way we offer our services and the customer has access to a wealth of management information at their convenience to help drive effective and efficient linen usage.
Salary: GBP10 Per hour Monday - Friday Day Shift GBP11 Per Hour Evenings & Weekends
Hours: Working any 5 of 7
Days - 7am Start - Until Route is finished minimum 8 hours
Evenings - 15:30 Start - Until route is finished minimum 8 hours
Employment Type: Temporary
Start Date: Immediate
Location: St Helens
Key responsibilities & duties:
3.5 Tonne van delivery driver.
Delivering Linen to hospitals and Hotels in cages.
Roll cage work.
At all times you are representing our customer and the face of the business presenting excellent customer service skills and ensuring you do not damage any customer property when delivering.
Manual work heavy lifting ( Cage work )
Minimum qualifications, experience and Academic qualifications:
3.5 Tonne Van driving license at least 6 months experience
Delivery driver 6 months experience essential
At least 3 months roll cage delivery experience
The successful applicant:
The successful applicant must have:
Must be 21 or over.
3.5 Tonne driver experience
Happy with manual work.
Criminal background check may be required
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to multi task and priorities workload.
Flexibility in working times.
Can do attitude and a flexible approach.
Can work under pressure/to deadlines
