We're currently looking to recruit a Learning & Development Manager to join our Group, covering both Watkin Jones Group and Fresh.
This is an exciting new role within the business and you'll work within our HR / People function, playing an important part in contributing to our people strategy, focusing on learning, development and training for all staff. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, providing an in-house learning service that includes the design, creation, delivery and analysis of learning activities.
Whilst many learning topics can be delivered through e-learning modules, virtual classrooms and other online platforms, the Learning & Development Manager will be required to travel to sites, offices and other venues to carryout face to face training, coaching and other elements of the role. The wide geographical spread of these locations means that on occasion, overnight stays are required.
About You
Candidates for this role must hold a Level 5 qualification in a related field, or have significant and substantial experience as a Learning & Development professional, with evidence of undertaking training, learning or other activities to maintain professional status, keeping abreast of developments, trends and best-practice in the profession and industry. An excellent communicator with business acumen, you'll have the ability to influence, negotiate and build sustainable, positive working relationships. Competent with Microsoft Office Applications and having the ability to compile reports, presenting information in an accurate, logical format, you'll manage your own time, balancing competing priorities to ensure projects and outcomes are delivered on time.
Chartered Membership of the CIPD, coupled with knowledge of the construction and development industry, would be desirable, however is not essential.
