With an established track record for building quality homes and investing in their local communities, they are excited to recruit to a brand new role and appoint a Sustainability Manager.

What you'll be doing

As their Sustainability Manager you will lead in the development and implementation of a brand-new sustainability strategy which will future-proof their homes and work towards the achievement of EPC C minimum and the Government's Net Zero Carbon target by 2050.

You will act as project manager for their SHIFT accreditation strategy and you will lead on Energy and Utility management to reduce resource use and drive sustainability and cost efficiencies.

More about you. What can you bring?

They are looking for an ambitious manager to lead, shape and grow their sustainability agenda. For this you will need to have a proven track record of successfully managing an Energy, Environment and Sustainability strategy along with a relevant academic qualification (recognised degree standard qualification in a relevant environmental science or equivalent ).

Experience of working in a customer focussed environment and providing advice and support regarding the technicalities of energy efficiency and sustainability measures is essential.

When and where you'll be doing it

You will enjoy a 37-hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa GBP45,000 per annum depending upon your knowledge, skills and experience.

Their head office is in central Maidstone where you will be based in their new modern and bright office space which offers creative, collaborative and flexible ways of working. They continues to embrace agile working for all colleagues, so it is anticipated that you will also work remotely.
