Location: Newcastle
Salary: Up to GBP40k DOE and Company van
Contract: Full time & Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours

This is an exciting time to join IQA, at a period of growth and diversification. IQA, in conjunction with Elecnor, as part of the Telecommunication market in the UK. We have been awarded a FTTH contract on behalf of City Fibre.
About the Quality Assurance Advisor Role:
We are currently looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Advisor to be based out of our premises in Newcastle supporting all aspects of our FTTH contract.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all the process adopted complies with the quality standards. Working across the business and also with external stakeholder to ensure compliance. Manage all corrective actions and ensure best practice. Be proactive to ensure site support for all quality matters.
Day to day tasks are as follows (but not limited to):
* Working closely with operational managers, our clients and suppliers to ensure that all standards are understood, met and complied with and advising of best practice.
* Carrying out Daily Audits on site
* New operations employee quality inductions
* Ensuring that corrective actions established for the operations systems are maintained
* Be aware of statistics, rankings and trends
* Provide site support to the client and other stakeholders on all quality matters
* Update and track all defect and ensure completion & provide site support to all site operations and supervisors.
* Driving compliance levels, reducing the cost of failure by addressing root cause
* Assessing changing client requirements and ensuring these are met
* Understanding, communicating and agreeing changing client standards/specifications to the operational delivery team
* Working with operational staff to maintain processes standards, systems and procedures are effective
* Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality around our customer product delivery
* Be aware of statistical information to monitor an inform performance improvement actions
* Attendance of client meetings as required.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven track record in a similar role
* Experience in the Telecoms industry is essential
* Excellent technical skills (Civils and Fibre)
* Good numerical skills and an understanding of statistics
* Planning and organisation skills
* Communication and interpersonal skills
* Problem-solving skills
* Team working skills
* Excellent IT skills
