Service Delivery Engineer / Installation Engineer
Our client, a successful telecommunications company is looking to recruit a Service Delivery Engineer to join there ever expanding team.
Key responsibilities and accountability's:
Complete site surveys to record the most appropriate route from the nearest point of the network to the customers premises
Installing fibre in customer premises, business and residential, including splicing
Undertake appropriate testing to ensure the service ordered will deliver an excellent customer experience
Being customer centric at-all-times, and making sure the customer is delighted with the service and installation completed before leaving site
Working collaboratively with other teams to troubleshoot technical queries and resolve issues
Ensure regular communications with the SD Supervisor, team members, and other teams in order to maintain a reliable network that our customers expect
Ensure that all installation compliance requirements are correct and up to date
Work on special projects, as assigned, to help achieve the goals of the department Experience, and Desired Attributes:
Note that this role includes physical challenges:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy equipment.
The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places .
Solid organizational ability and an attention to detail
Problem solver and solution provider Qualifications
Ability to drive: min 1 year (required) and must hold a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
Street works Unit 2 signing, lighting and guarding NRSWA (required)
External cabling (required) and internal cabling (required)
Confined spaces low and high risk (required)
Overhead accreditation's (preferred)
Civils experience (preferred) Benefits
Salary - up to GBP28K per annum ( depending on experience)
Up to 10% bonus (depending on the company's and individual's performance)
25 days of holidays + bank holidays
6% pension plan from the company
Working hours: 8am - 5 pm, 1 hour of lunchbreak, possible overtime paid
