Training Coordinator
Training Administrator - 1 Year FTC
Competitive salary & Benefits
The National Composites Centre is at the forefront of the composites revolution. We're accelerating the adoption of exciting and innovative new technologies and working with industry to make the future of light-weighting materials a reality. But it's not just world-leading R&D solutions that we offer.
Since 2019, our Skills and Workforce Development team have been providing a suite of high-quality courses to a variety of customers that want to learn more about composites. Our employees also rate internal staff training opportunities as one of the key benefits of working at the NCC. This is where you come in.
An opportunity has arisen to join the NCC's Skills & Workforce Development team, to provide administrative and customer service support to NCC colleagues and our valued customers.
About the role:
Working independently and as part of our team, you'll act as the key point of contact for all skills and workforce development enquiries. You will coordinate customer and employee training bookings, including managing the training calendars for internal and external activities. You will provide support for training delivery, such as the preparation of training materials and collation of training evaluation data. In line with ISO9001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, you'll be responsible for managing training records and preparing management reports. You'll have the opportunity to show your creative side when promoting internal staff development opportunities using the staff newsletter and intranet, and have a flair for upselling our training offer when engaging with our customers.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* A wealth of customer service experience, ideally from within a training support role (although this is not essential).
* High levels of computer literacy, with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and significant experience of working with spreadsheets and databases.
* Excellent planning skills, with the ability to co-ordinate multiple projects at once, and work flexibly between the internal and external training requirements of the role.
* Organised and detail focused, with a methodical and analytical approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a range of colleagues and customers.
* A team player - we're all about our people here, and you'll understand our culture and make lasting connections.
We look forward to receiving your application
