The Role

Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner at our Grimsby site. In Grimsby, we manufacture fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and for private label.

The role of Supply Chain Planner is responsible for but not limited to planning all daily production, raw materials and packaging ordering for our Soup site. In this role you will be required to plan and schedule production for our range of chilled soups using excel spread sheets and our M3 and Preactor systems.

The production facility has 7 production lines and a range of 30+ SKU's in different pack formats. Strong relationships need to be formed with all of our customers and suppliers to obtain the most accurate data in terms of demand. To manage the supply and meet our customer expectations with no waste. Lean materials planning is imperative to ensure 100% service to production whilst maintaining optimal stock levels to mitigate obsolescence and effectively manage change. Daily interaction is required with many departments: Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Procurement, NPD and Process so It is essential to have good communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Supply Chain experience within FMCG

Advanced Excel skills

Good communications skills

Understanding of MRP, MOVEX and other stock control systems
