Do you have auditing experience from a food manufacturer? We have an exciting role for a Quality Assurance Operative to join a leading family run manufacturing company based near Grimsby in Keelby. This is a permanent role working afternoon shifts Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm on a salary of up to GBP21,500 (GBP11.20ph).
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all products manufactured comply with customer standards including quality, safety, and legality. Your duties will involve the collection of product samples, assisting in site visits and audits, setting standards across the production floor and offering training where required, ensuring the factory floor is audit ready at any given time, carrying out verification checks on measuring equipment, and investigating any complaints received.
It is essential that you have good manufacturing process (GMP) and a minimum of 2 years auditing experience from a food manufacturing background. You will be confident in your approach with the ability to communicate at all levels. A certificate in basic food hygiene will be beneficial for the role. Strong IT skills is essential with the ability to use MS Office (Excel, Outlook etc).
