Linde Material Handling GmbH, a KION Group company, is a leading global manufacturer of forklift trucks (FLTs) and warehouse trucks, and a solutions and service provider for intralogistics.
Main Purpose of the Role
To find, diagnose and rectify faults on customer vehicles and FLT's as deemed necessary, and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible.
This role will be based primarily in Derby, but you should be able to cover all DE and NG postcode areas.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* To adhere to all company and site H&S and Environmental policies and procedures and to ensure familiarity with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:2004.
* Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and within the stipulated time period.
* Work under own initiative without constant supervision.
* To ensure all allocated work is adhered to.
* Ensure that the specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures are always followed.
* To ensure that all stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct.
* Ensure all company issued equipment is kept in a satisfactory condition.
* Any other duties which arise as a result of the above.

There is a need for a flexible approach to this job in order for the company to achieve its objectives
Required Functional Competencies/ Experiences/ Qualifications
* Full Clean Driving Licence.
* Full understanding of, and able to complete Reactive and Preventative Maintenance.
* Engineering Qualification - minimum level 3 in engineering.
* Experience working with forklift trucks (FLTs) is desirable, but not essential
