Our client is a growing charity with a number of offices around the UK. They are a value driven/ 'people focused organisation'. Initially this is a fixed term contract for 6 months. This working from home, with some days in the office
The role is supporting the varied ER caseload and admin for all people matters. It is a very busy/ 'hands on'/ communicative role supporting all areas within HR including ER, policy development, and change management, admin, 1st line support etc. This is a great role for a person with a grounding in HR/ ER who is looking to build on their HR experience
Key responsibilities
* ER support, Advising /dealing with cases (from start to finish)/ queries, ER queries, training , rewards, performance management
* All aspects on onboarding / recruitment (including compliance referencing)
* Relationship building
* HR reporting,
* General HR admin; contract changes/ issuing, updating trackers, dealing with SARS requests
* Payroll support/ administration
* Assist with various projects including development of new policies and the review of existing policies.
Person Spec
* A proven relationship builder, customer focused, team player
* A good communicator (phone, email, face to face, able to support remotely).
Skills & qualifications
* Experience within an HR role - HR / recruitment admin, payroll admin
* ER experience - able to / willing to look after ER cases from start to finish
* Proven accuracy skills/ attention to detail- strong attention to detail
* Studying CIPD - desirable
