Field Services Manager (PDH & SDH Microwave)

My client is a leading Microwave radio and wireless solution company who are looking for a Field Service Manager to oversee the field engineers throughout the UK.

Objectives

* To successfully plan, control and implement field activities in accordance with the business objectives and maintain profitability, quality and customer satisfaction.

* To provide management and accountability of the Quality, Heath and Safety and engineering resources.

* Accountable for the field engineering resource.

Services

* Manage the day to day activities of the services team.

* Be the point of contact for all field staff.

* Liaise with Operations Manager to allocate engineering resource to the projects.

* Assist the project team on a daily basis to ensure safe working practices in accordance with current legislation.

* Manage junior members of the services team and provide mentoring to improve project deliverables.

* Maintain the accurate forecasting of Field activities, maximising productivity at all times.

* React to and solve any site issues, ensuring that all jobs are completed on time and to the highest standard.

* Authorise and document timesheets, in order to provide the Finance and Operations managers with a weekly summary of hours worked and verified completion bonuses.

* Manage vehicle fleet, ensuring all insurance and inspection records are kept up to date, dealing with any fleet issues

Key Skills Required

* MS Office including MS Project

* Extensive experience in the installation, commissioning and integration of PDH and SDH microwave systems

* Excellent Communication skills

* Commercially and financially aware

* Written and oral English qualifications

* Customer focus

* A working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. Including WAH regulations

* Time management
