Warehouse Supervisor

My Client is an award-winning manufacturer of high end, artisan condiments. Their range of products are hand-made in small batches, to the highest quality, using natural ingredients. They know the origins of all of their ingredients and work with British farmers and growers to source the best that are available. They are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor who will manage the day to day supervision of warehouse staff and the allocation of their work, ensuring daily customer order requirements are met. Booking deliveries with customers and processing courier consignments. Raising despatch documentation for shipments, liaising with production and communicating product requirements to meet delivery schedules.
The role is Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Warehouse Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities
??Supervising the warehouse team and conducting one to one's
??Booking in orders for delivery/collections from site.
??Investigating and solving delivery issues.
??Loading and unloading of goods to and from delivery vehicles.
??Picking, packing and checking of goods for Sales orders, with associated paperwork.
??Physically receiving and issuing of goods and recording on the Sage system
??Packing and storage of goods to minimise damage.
??Keeping accurate records & transferring data to the Sage system
??Comply with all Health & Safety regulations. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and compliant with the cleaning schedule.
??Adherence to our Social & Environmental impact performance targets (BCorp & ISO 14001)
??Drive company vehicles as and when required
??Ensure fork-lift trucks are in correct and safe working condition.
??Help cover Goods-In when necessary.
Warehouse Supervisor Experience/ Skills Required
??Previous Supervisory Warehouse experience
??Ability to lead a team
??Holder of a current licence to drive Fork Lift Trucks Counter Balance and Pivot Steer (not essential, training will be provided)
This role is commutable Bristol, Chippenham, Tetbury, Cirencester, Castle Coombe, Bath and surrounding areas
