Key Account Manager

An exciting position has become available for a full time Key Account Manager to join a friendly enthusiastic team based in Lincoln, LN3 4NL. The hours of work will be Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm. The successful candidate will earn GBP25,000-GBP27,000 pa. The main role will be working closely with your Area Sales Manager to support growth in a dedicated territory, through developing relationships and loyalty with existing customers and creating new key account opportunities.

Role Requirements

Experience in B2B sales, confident via the phone or through video conferencing platforms.
IT literate in MS Suite
Proficient in MS Office Excel for customer data analysis.
Quotation Proposal preparation.
Strong admin skills
Experience working with CRM systems
Rapport/Relationship Building with clients to increase loyalty
Communication skills
Negotiation skills
Persistent
Objection Handling
Proficient working with zoom meetings/teams.
Experienced in prospecting/cold calling & appt booking.
Role Responsibilities

Ensuring the CRM system is up to date with relevant notes on deals.
Working closely with Area Sales Managers to ensure area targets are met.
Ensuring opportunities are won through persistent Prospecting via telephone, email & LinkedIn
Detail analysis on key accounts spend to identify areas of growth, or areas of drop off and how this can be rectified.
Preparation of relevant costing spreadsheets where required on larger contracts.
To assist in booking of specific appointments where required.
To Maintain and grow existing customers spend through adding new lines - Developing and sustaining Long-term relationships with customers to increase loyalty and profitability in your area.
Maximising incoming enquiries from existing customers and new prospects
Utilising technology wherever possible to increase efficiency - such as zoom/team's meetings to progress opportunities.
Finding solutions for applications and making recommendations to clients on products.
Qualifying new prospects from prospecting calls, finding opportunities, and booking appointments with new prospects
