English and Drama Teacher Required in a Secondary School in Darlington

Our client school in the Darlington area wish to appoint a dedicated English and Drama Teacher to commence on a full time basis as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English and Drama across Key Stage 3 and 4, taking GCSE groups. The Head Teacher of this secondary school is seeking a driven English and Drama Teacher who can motivate and inspire students to achieve the best results possible. The staff within the school is held in high regards within the local community for their commitment to supporting all children. In addition, the school are recognised for and dedicated to ensuring the continued CPD of all staff.

The successful English and Drama Teacher will be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of student achievement, personal development and well-being are reached. You will need to be able to create detailed lesson plans using assessment and target setting to cater to students with different levels of ability and you will be encouraged to team plan.

Qualified Teacher Status is ESSENTIAL for employment. Applicants without QTS or QTLS will not be considered.
