* Demonstrable experience in creating novel solutions and designs
* Foundation level understanding of UK MOD IT security standards, processes and departments
* Foundation understanding of interfacing standards and protocols for LVC systems
* Desirable (any from)
* Experience of working to the Systems Engineering V Model lifecycle
* Air and/or Maritime Mission Systems
* Mission planning, briefing and debriefing tools and systems

* Electronic warfare including jamming, spoofing, threat injection
* LOS and BLOS communications data links
As a Systems Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:
* Systems level specification, design and acceptance of future systems (including but not limited to LVC Capability)
* Architect and deliver technology capability demonstrations for application into Airborne Operational Readiness Training Portfolio
* Technology watch - keeping abreast of market trends and supplier offerings
* Systems level design and realisation of air and ground based synthetic injection technology demonstration
* Broaden RF experience in the team through coaching and mentoring
* Defining technology solutions as required
* Create opportunities for experimentation/demonstration through liaison with potential suppliers in conjunction with programme/commercial team
* Generate system architectures
* Generate experimental/demonstration system designs that comply with safety and security requirements
* Decompose system requirements into sub-system and component level requirements, allocate to appropriate supplier or internal discipline, generate/review written specifications
* Generate system block diagrams, interconnection drawings (ICDs), and assembly outline drawings
* Produce work and material estimates in support of proposals
* Perform work planning, budget/schedule management, and identify technical deliverables for System Engineering section of proposals
* Participate in Government/Industry sponsored activities; industry-days, CONOP exercises, technical interchanges
* Identify and manage project risks
