We are currently recruiting for a Science Teachers for a good rated OFSTED school in Luton.

About the job:
The schools primary intention in Science is to assist students in developing competence: an assured style and sense of purpose in their written work.
Students should be able to respond to a variety of writing opportunities in clear and precise prose which exhibits an individual voice and focus.
The second goal is to foster men of conscience by exposing students to a body of canonical literature and the various ethical issues explored therein.
This English teacher role requires their students to experience literature of lasting human value enabling them to conclude that humanity is of inestimable worth, that the world is constantly evolving and that they are called in all instances to be merciful, compassionate and just.
The successful candidate will be required to teach up to KS4.

* The ability to use an creative range of teaching strategies to promote high expectations and high levels of challenge in the classroom
* The ability to plan for development in learning, using intervention as necessary.
* The ability to use assessment for learning to improve teaching and learning as well as to assess and record student progress
* The ability to establish a safe and purposeful working atmosphere that supports learning and in which students feel secure and confident
* The ability to make use of an understanding of ICT to develop teaching resources as well as to enrich the curriculum
* An enjoyment in working with young people
* A commitment to teaching the full ability range
* A commitment to working collaboratively within the faculty

Requirements:
* Experience techer of Science to KS4
* DBS on update service
* Qualified to at least degree level in the subject being taught
* Qualified to teach in the UK
* QTS
