Health & Safety Advisor
South West
Are you an experienced Health & Safety Advisor, seeking a new role?
Sphere Solutions are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a well-established and award winning construction company. With a loyal client base and fast track fit out projects across the country this is an exciting opportunity to provide Health and Safety advice to award winning teams.
The role:
* Site, office and workshop inspections - reporting on HSE status and compliance
* Offering HSE advice to site personal and directors
* Be able to advise on Construction phase plans
* Produce project health and safety plans, risk assessments and method statements
* Review and approve RAMS for sub-contractors
* Maintain all accreditations - CHAS, Safe Contractor
* Implement and arrange staff training
The Person:
* Experience of working in the construction sector
* NEBOSH Construction ideally but will consider NEBOSH general if good construction experience
* Understanding of HSE legislation
* Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and 18001 Standards
* Good training skills and confident in public speaking
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Able to work under pressure
* Ability to positively influence others
* A full UK driving license is essential for this role as there will be extensive travel
On offer is generous salary and benefits package. Please note the regional reporting office will be Plymouth but you can base yourself anywhere in the South West and work remotely / from home. If this role is of interest please call Jo on to discuss in more detail.
