A multi-site service business that is fully operational during the COVID period, is seeking to bring their payroll process in house onto Sage. The role will operate in a small accounts department of 4 and but will expect for the business and function to grow. You will be sole charge in payroll and will be responsible for:

Oversee processing of monthly payroll for approximately (Apply online only) employees on Sage Payroll
Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
Documenting an implementing changes including starters, leavers, reviews, remuneration amendments and system upgrades
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and Group policies
Maintain accurate records and prepare payroll models and reports
Process employee expenses and P11d's
Maintain audit trail on salaries, benefits, deductions, taxes and third party payments including pension, medical and childcare vouchers
Assist in the finance department with ad hoc duties as required

Proven experience in a similar role, with current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws is imperative, with familiarity with payroll software, ideally Sage Payroll. You will have a high attention to detail and accuracy and be organised and self-disciplined to follow procedures exactly and work to deadlines, while also implementing process improvements. Strong communication skills are essential
