ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero teaching are looking for an experienced English Teacher from June 2021 for a mixed secondary school, rated 'good' by Ofsted. You need to have experience delivering English to KS3 and KS4 pupils. The role is 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) from June 2021 until at least the end of the academic year. The school is a top performing school in the area, with exam results that regularly exceed expectations. With a strong focus on staff development, the school offers regular CPD and career progression opportunities, which are open to all staff. Alongside this, the school offers a broad curriculum and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities to pupils to ensure all students have the opportunity to gain a full educational experience. * English Teacher KS3 and KS4
* JUNE 2021 start
* 3 days a week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
* Minimum rate GBP120 per day
* 8:20 am - 3.45/4pm, plus parents evenings
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Fully qualified English teacher graded good/outstanding
English specialist capable of all teaching KS3 and KS4
Innovative and creative teaching strategies and lessons
Aim to strive towards good and outstanding standards
ICT capable with interactive whiteboards etc.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
* Qualifications (QTS)
