Quality Assurance Specialist - Pharmaceuticals

A market leader within the Medical Devices sector seek a confident and assured Quality Assurance Specialist to join their rapidly growing business and manage a number of complex analytical and delivery projects whilst interfacing with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

For this dynamic and high-calibre firm, monitoring the enduring quality and safety of products in the market place is paramount. You will play a key role in providing the necessary data and solutions to ensure risk is appropriately managed and to maintain the businesses world class reputation. Working cross-functionally with colleagues in R&D, Manufacturing, Engineering & Operations, you will be a keystone of continuous improvement initiatives, post-market surveillance and regulatory control projects.

Key responsibilities:

Lead quality engineering programmes for post-market surveillance initiatives, evaluating performance data, product safety and detecting trends to escalate within the business

Create risk profiles for key products, pre & post-launch

Create process and policies to investigate product safety, risk review activity and monitoring

Drive continuous improvement activity within quality engineering & production

Required experience:

Demonstrable experience in a quality/technical role, within a Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical business preferred

Strong regulatory knowledge, including expertise in quality systems (e.g. ISO 13485)

High level of proficiency with data analysis and reporting

Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or scientific disciplines.
