POSITIONS: A range of C++ Software Engineers are required for this new project team. Junior, Mid level and Senior.
LOCATION OF WORK: This role can be worked Fully Remotely. However if you are someone who likes being onsite in an office, the company has brand new and very modern offices in York City Centre. If York doesn't take your fancy, the company has other offices all over the UK which you are welcome to work out of.
THE ROLE:
A highly successful embedded systems business based in York city centre are recruiting multiple modern C++ Linux Software Engineers for a brand-new Autonomous Vehicle development.
This global organisation has awarded its York site (which is the Centre of Excellence for R&D) this very exciting and cutting-edge technology development.
With Autonomous Vehicles being a new sector for the business, the company is recruiting a new team of 50 individuals. If you want to be part of something super exciting at the very start, then this role will offer this.
Autonomous Vehicles is something we have heard lots about and is something which is only a few steps away. This is your chance to work on a platform that all Autonomous Vehicle manufacturers will be using.
For this role you should have strong C++ programming skills (C++ 11, C++ 14 or C++ 17). You should also have experience programming on Linux. If you have strong C++ but have programmed on RTOS or Windows this will be considered.
Aside from technical ability, you should be someone who enjoys working part of a fun and friendly team environment, who likes to dream big and who will be energised working on something so cutting edge.
SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THIS BUSINESS:
